drawing: My original passion is drawing. From the age of two, it was simply my favorite activity. I studied perspective theory and learned to draw realistically while staying with my grandmother during the summer when I was five. I've been practicing ever since.

My favorite subject is strangers that I see on buses and trains. I love the challenge of capturing their likeness in a couple seconds before they move, look up or get off.

I've been drawing mostly in pen for years, to teach myself the elusive art of cross-hatching. These images are from my journals. enjoy.
