green building: Creating buildings that use less energy, lose less energy, waste less during construction, use innovative materials and feel better to their inhabitants. soniCinema is currently designing retrofit systems for older buildings, which will help developers and green builders integrate passive solar, and water management systems to their buildings. We have also worked with Sustainable Living Designs to create site plans for builder George Hammond's recent green dwelling project on a 10-acre plot in Sonoma, and the Institute of Noetic Science's 200-acre campus. Site plans included features to control rainwater runoff, grow food for inhabitants and provide peaceful gardens.
